Lecturer in Vocational Business

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Vocational Business to join our award‑winning college in Newcastle. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and involves delivering BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 business courses as well as the new T‑Level in Business Management and Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality teaching across a range of business units, including finance, branding, visual merchandising and team building.
• Develop imaginative and engaging learning activities that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Contribute to departmental strategic objectives and support marketing activities such as open days.
• Utilise remote teaching platforms when required to support blended learning.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to students.

• Relevant teaching qualification and experience delivering vocational business programmes.
• Proven record of achieving strong student achievement rates.
• Understanding of learner needs and ability to inspire confidence.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
