Legal Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Legal Advisor to join Tructyre Fleet Management Ltd and provide strategic legal counsel across the business. This permanent, hybrid position offers the chance to shape our legal and insurance functions while supporting the UK Board and leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal and insurance functions in line with business objectives and legal standards.
• Act as principal legal advisor to the UK Board and Leadership Team.
• Deliver a cost‑effective legal strategy supporting compliance and growth.
• Provide clear advice on contracts, employment, health & safety, environmental, property and corporate matters.
• Identify and manage legal risks and opportunities.
• Fulfil Company Secretary duties and ensure governance compliance.
• Develop and manage the insurance strategy and oversee all insurance matters.
• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing legal and insurance team.
• Manage departmental performance, budget and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (or equivalent) with excellent credentials.
• Proven experience as a solicitor or comparable legal professional.
• Strong commercial law knowledge across a wide range of areas.
• Ability to research, assess and present complex legal issues.
• Experience supporting commercial decision‑making based on legal interpretation.
