Lift Service Engineer – Manchester

About the role
We are a well‑known lift service, installation and repair company seeking a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. You will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of lifts, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own lift service route across Manchester.
- Attend lift breakdowns and carry out planned servicing and maintenance work.
- Provide service and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) at customer sites.
- Offer technical support and advice to maximise first‑time fix rates.
- Travel throughout the coverage area to meet client needs.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
- Relevant certifications such as J Modules.
- Self‑motivated, reliable and well‑organised.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Required skills
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair on passenger lifts.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair on goods lifts.
- Proficiency with J Modules.
- NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering knowledge.
