Live-In Building Manager – Central London

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Live‑In Building Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a prestigious luxury residential development in Central London. You will act as the face of the building, ensuring residents receive first‑class service while the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the residential development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and visitors.
• Conduct regular inspections of communal areas and maintain presentation standards.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Supervise contractors, ensuring safety and quality.
• Monitor Health & Safety compliance, including statutory inspections and record keeping.
• Manage building systems and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Handle resident enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist with emergency situations and out‑of‑hours incidents when required.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with the managing agent to ensure efficient operation of the development.

Required profile

• Experience in residential block or luxury property management.
• Professional, approachable and highly customer‑focused.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident managing contractors and multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and building compliance.
• Willingness to live on‑site as part of the role.
