Locum GP – Friday Cover (Long‑term)

About the role

Eyemouth Medical Practice is seeking a qualified GP to provide long‑term locum cover for a full Friday session. The role offers a mix of clinical and administrative duties within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 15‑minute patient consultations on a Friday schedule.
• Balance clinical workload with allocated administrative time.
• Collaborate with practice partners, salaried GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists and other community health staff.
• Utilise EMIS PCS and Docman for patient records and documentation.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• GMC‑registered General Practitioner.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Team‑oriented with a commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
• Open to both experienced and newly qualified doctors.
