Logistics Manager – Shared User / Contract Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a small, professional warehouse and logistics team in the West Midlands. The role combines operational oversight with client‑facing responsibilities, supporting the company’s expansion across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse and logistics operations.
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff and support personnel.
• Oversee commercial activity, including pricing and scoping of supply‑chain solutions.
• Work directly with suppliers and customers on warehousing, transport, fulfilment and international freight projects.
• Maintain and optimise Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience at senior supervisor or manager level within a logistics provider or in‑house operation.
• Strong knowledge of contract logistics, shared‑user operations and end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
• Commercial and financial acumen with a track record of developing profitable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for client and supplier interaction.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
