M&A Recruiter – Private Equity (London, Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing specialist search firm to add an M&A Recruiter to its London team. The role focuses on sourcing and placing corporate development, strategy and deal professionals within private‑equity‑backed, high‑growth tech and tech‑enabled companies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a dedicated M&A / Corporate Development desk serving PE‑backed portfolio companies.
• Act as a client‑facing, revenue‑generating 360 recruiter, managing the full search lifecycle.
• Qualify mandates, conduct market mapping, headhunt and manage candidate pipelines from shortlist to offer.
• Engage senior stakeholders such as CFOs, CEOs and strategy leaders to understand hiring needs.
• Grow a strong network of deal, strategy and M&A talent and contribute to the practice’s overall positioning.

Required profile

• Proven exposure to M&A, corporate development or strategy recruitment, or experience within PE‑backed/high‑growth businesses.
• Deep understanding of deal environments, growth strategies and value‑creation processes.
• Track record as a 360 recruiter with strong billing performance and ability to win senior, niche mandates.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives and operating in a consultative, high‑value market.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary between £40,000 and £80,000, plus a competitive commission structure.
