Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas to ensure ongoing functionality and safety.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling and completing required maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate status updates to the property management team.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical tasks on residential properties.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Capability to follow established procedures, policies and regulatory codes.
• Flexibility to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
