Management Accountant – Finance Reporting & ERP Transformation

About the role

Join a fast‑growing live events business as a Management Accountant and play a pivotal part in two strategic initiatives – building a best‑in‑class management reporting function and supporting the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Working hybrid (four days in the office, one day remote) you will partner closely with the Reporting Manager and finance colleagues to shape the future of the Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reporting with variance analysis and commentary.
• Create and maintain reporting templates and processes to ensure consistency and scalability across the business.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, challenge assumptions and build financial models for scenario planning and business cases.
• Represent the reporting function in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, defining future‑state reporting requirements and supporting data migration, validation and reconciliation.
• Participate in user‑acceptance testing, produce training documentation and act as a Finance super‑user to drive adoption of new processes.
• Maintain robust balance‑sheet reconciliations, manage month‑end close activities and assist with year‑end audit and statutory reporting.
• Build strong relationships with budget holders and operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision‑making.
