Mandarin-speaking Project Finance Manager – London

About the role

This permanent position is based in London and reports to the Head of Corporate Banking. The Project Finance Manager will lead the branch’s project finance book, sourcing and executing transactions across primary and secondary markets while working in a hybrid model (one day remote per week).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the branch’s project finance strategy aligned with overall goals.
• Lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of complex project finance deals.
• Oversee outsourced preparation of financial models, forecasts and support financing decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and funding partners.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Represent the branch’s project finance function internally and externally, delivering high‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Solid UK experience in the Project Finance sector.
• Proven ability to generate new local business contacts.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic leadership and investment oversight.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £85,000 and £135,000 per year, dependent on seniority.
