Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for new and existing products. The role focuses on applying lean manufacturing principles, preparing production documentation, and supporting the production team in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and assembly procedures.
• Prepare and maintain production documentation for prototypes, pre‑series, and special production runs.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and resolve technical issues in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with technical and cross‑functional teams to create cost estimates for new projects.
• Participate in procurement and design of handling and manufacturing equipment.
• Lead or support lean projects with the Lean Supervisor to eliminate waste.
• Ensure compliance with lean manufacturing, 5S, and international trade regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical engineering or related manufacturing roles.
• Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Basic skills in CAD, technical drawing, and innovative thinking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD and CAD/CAM systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially lean manufacturing.
• Ability to read and create electrical documentation.
