Marketing & Ecommerce Assistant

About the role

James Gin is looking for a proactive Marketing & Ecommerce Assistant to support the day‑to‑day marketing activities of a fast‑growing gin brand. This fully remote, entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience across ecommerce, email marketing, content coordination and partnership management.

Key responsibilities

• Upload, maintain and QA website content on Shopify, including blogs, cocktail recipes, landing pages and SEO optimisation.
• Build, schedule and QA email campaigns, customer flows and list management in Klaviyo.
• Monitor customer reviews, competitor activity and escalated queries, coordinating with logistics and customer service partners.
• Support the affiliate programme – onboarding, tracking, reporting and partner management.
• Organise and manage marketing assets in Box for website, CRM and partner channels.
• Assist with campaign execution, event and shoot logistics, product gifting and broader marketing administration.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Clear, proactive communication.
• Genuine interest in ecommerce, digital marketing or the drinks industry.

Required skills

• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience with Klaviyo.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Box for asset management.
• Basic knowledge of affiliate platforms such as Awin (nice to have).
