About the role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our forward‑thinking secondary school in East London. The role primarily involves teaching Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Plan, mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Support learners of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the Maths curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
