MET Technician – Accident Repair

About the role

We’re looking for a MET Technician to join our team and play a key role in Activate Accident Repair. Activate Group is a fast‑growing UK business approaching 1,000 team members nationwide, offering genuine development and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out work detailed in the estimate, removing damaged components in preparation for repair/paint work.
• Refit repaired or replaced components, restoring the vehicle to its pre‑accident condition.
• Deliver the highest standard of quality.
• Achieve manufacturers’ and/or estimated repair times.
• Report all faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles.
• Accurately record all components, materials and consumables used.

Required profile

• ATA / NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Good communication skills.
• Good decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Effective time‑management skills.
• Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.
