Join a leading team as a Mobile Building Engineer, supporting critical infrastructure within the Ministry of Justice estate. Based primarily at HMP Lindholme, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of multiple sites across the Yorkshire and Humberside regions.

Missions principales

• Perform both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks across approximately six different establishments.
• Ensure strict compliance with Amey, MOJ, and HMPPS security protocols.
• Manage tools, equipment, and assist with site escorts as required.
• Conduct specialized maintenance on fire doors, extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and RCDs.
• Monitor water temperature tests and general building systems to ensure safety standards.
• Maintain flexibility to travel to other regions or remain on-site for extended periods based on operational needs.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be comfortable with frequent travel.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform tasks at height.
• Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
• Must be able to undergo a security clearance (Prisoner Habilitation) and DBS check.

Competences requises

• Relevant NVQ qualifications in building services or maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and electrical safety (RCD).
• Proficiency in IT for reporting and maintenance management.
• Project management and organizational skills.
