Motor Claims Technician – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

Our client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a Motor Claims Technician to join their Manchester team on a hybrid basis. You will manage motor insurance claims from the initial report through to settlement, ensuring compliance with company procedures and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process motor claims from first notice of loss (FNOL) to final settlement.
• Conduct investigations to determine liability and gather necessary evidence.
• Maintain accurate claim files and meet service level targets.
• Drive your own caseload to resolution efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers as required.

Required profile

• Experience in any element of motor claims (FNOL, vehicle repairs, credit hire, injury, etc.) and a desire to develop full case ownership.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
