About the role

We are seeking a commercially ambitious National Account Manager to own key customer accounts within a fast‑paced FMCG environment. You will drive sustainable, profitable growth across a portfolio of branded and own‑label products, working autonomously while receiving strong cross‑functional support.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop key customer accounts, delivering against sales, profit, distribution and new product development targets.
  • Build, implement and review Joint Business Plans aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Lead customer negotiations, including annual terms, CPI, promotions and new listings.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for each account, overseeing trade investment and promotional spend.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and performance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Develop and execute promotional and shopper activation plans in line with marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with Category, Marketing, NPD, Logistics and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Identify market trends, risks, opportunities and competitor activity to enhance commercial performance.

Required profile

  • Proven FMCG sales experience, preferably within a blue‑chip environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and Joint Business Plans.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results‑driven mindset with a focus on identifying and delivering growth opportunities.

Required skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
