Night Auditor

About the role

Join the night team at Ibis Cambridge Central Station and be the first point of contact for guests arriving late or departing early. You will ensure smooth hotel operations throughout the night while delivering a warm, professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a friendly attitude.
• Perform the Night Audit, prepare and distribute reports to internal departments.
• Manage reservation details and accounts for in‑house guests, ensuring accurate records.
• Support overall hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.
• Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
• Maintain safety and security of guests, respond to requests, and resolve issues promptly.
• Clean and maintain public areas such as the lobby, bar, and staff zones.
• Follow fire safety procedures and assist in emergencies.
• Reconcile daily revenue postings and promote sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Ability to work night shifts (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of hotel security and guest confidentiality.
• Friendly, guest‑focused personality with a passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System software such as OPERA Cloud.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
