Nursery Nurse – Level 3 Qualified (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role
Aspire People is recruiting Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to work across a variety of nurseries in Sandwell and South Birmingham. The role offers flexible supply work, long‑term placements or permanent positions, allowing you to match your schedule and career ambitions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 0‑5 years.
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play‑based experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children’s welfare at all times.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
