About the Role
Join Newcastle Carers as an Operational Support Officer, a dual-impact role combining facility management and front-of-house excellence. You will serve as the vital first point of contact for our service users, ensuring a warm, inclusive, and professional welcome while maintaining the seamless operational flow of our building.
Main Missions
- Act as the primary point of contact for service users, providing a welcoming and empathetic reception.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support and facilitate clear communication between staff, volunteers, service users, and external professionals.
- Manage building operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for all visitors.
- Oversee the effective use of the CRM system to maintain accurate data and support service coordination.
- Coordinate various tasks simultaneously to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the center.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organized professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a person-centered approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work with empathy and non-judgmental attitudes in a sensitive environment.
- Strong commitment to the values of empowerment, inclusion, and social support.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and general IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
