Operations Security Specialist – UK

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Operations Security Specialist to join our Local Operations Security team in the UK. You will work closely with the team on daily security activities, supporting the implementation and maintenance of Cyber Defense products across the local entity.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vulnerability management scanning tools.
• Identify vulnerabilities, track remediation actions and support remediation advice.
• Evaluate security threats, risks and vulnerabilities following established procedures.
• Assist in defining and implementing system security standards.
• Conduct password‑strength checks and support security assessments for projects and applications.
• Communicate security policies and procedures to team members and stakeholders.
• Support documentation and reporting related to security activities.

Required profile

• Interest or experience in technical security, systems, network or application security.
• Basic understanding of information security concepts and practices.
• Degree in computer science, information security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Eagerness to learn security standards such as ISO/IEC 27017, CISSP, CEH.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Organised, proactive and fluent in English.
