About the Role
Join Nuffield Health in Tunbridge Wells as an Outpatient Bookings Coordinator, a pivotal role within our outpatient department. You will serve as a key point of contact, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for our patients while supporting our clinical excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, acting as a liaison between patients, consultants, secretaries, and GP practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage booking databases efficiently.
- Foster strong professional relationships with all healthcare stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in customer service or administrative coordination, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly organized with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible regarding working hours and evolving priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with medical professionals and patients alike.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in IT tools, including database management and Microsoft Outlook.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of £25,545 per annum (pro-rata).
- Part-time schedule: 22.5 hours per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, 09:00 - 17:00).
