Paralegal – Corporate & Strategic Projects Legal Team

About the role

Rio Tinto is seeking a Paralegal to join its Corporate & Strategic Projects Legal team in London. The position offers hands‑on experience supporting a wide range of legal activities within a global mining and materials company.

Key responsibilities

• Review and support commercial contracts, NDAs and supplier agreements.
• Assist with due diligence and data collection on transactions.
• Manage document retention and contribute to knowledge‑management initiatives.
• Provide day‑to‑day paralegal support and process management.

Required profile

• Commitment to personal and team safety.
• Paralegal or junior legal experience, either in‑house or private practice.
• Strong project‑management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix organisation.
• Proven ability to prioritise multiple matters effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in‑house legal expertise.
