Part‑Time Housekeeper (20 hrs/week)

About the role

The Housekeeper ensures the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of the community, including external litter, internal communal spaces, reception and office areas, and other amenities. You will work as part of a friendly team within the Community team to provide a positive resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean reception, offices, common spaces and restrooms on a daily basis.
• Perform a full litter pick in all external areas each day.
• Check and clean all amenity areas as required.
• Refresh empty rooms, apartments and show flats throughout the day to keep them market‑ready.
• Conduct weekly flush‑downs in empty rooms and apartments in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
• Assist the make‑ready process and carry out additional duties requested by the Community Manager.
• Log maintenance issues with the Customer Service team and report hazards to the Community Manager.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder when necessary.

Required profile

• Ability to read and write English to understand safety labels, COSHH policy and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements and safe use of cleaning fluids and tools.
• Previous experience maintaining cleanliness in a customer‑occupied environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously using initiative.
• Flexible approach and good interpersonal communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
