Part‑time KS2 Class Teacher (0.5 FTE)

About the role

Corsham Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher for Key Stage 2 on a part‑time basis (0.5 FTE). The role will be based at either the Pound Pill or Broadwood site and runs from September 2026 to August 2027. You will join a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high‑quality education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess KS2 curriculum across core subjects.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practice.
• Communicate progress and wellbeing information to parents and carers.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Suitable for Early‑Career Teachers (ECTs) – recent graduates welcome.
• Commitment to the school’s values of caring, positivity and stimulation.
• Ability to work the agreed pattern: every other Wednesday/Thursday and Friday.
