Part‑time Merchandiser – POS Placement at Asda Darlington

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time merchandiser to place point‑of‑sale (POS) and in‑store media at Asda in Darlington. The role involves working roughly 1.5 hours each week on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings, helping brands gain visibility on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Place POS materials in designated store sections to support multiple brands.
• Photograph and report completed placements through an online app.
• Sign in, introduce yourself to store contacts and liaise with colleagues to locate delivered POS.
• Use a stepladder to position media at height when required.

Required profile

• Available to work the scheduled Wednesday evening/Thursday morning shift each week.
• Own a smartphone (Android or iOS) for app‑based reporting.
• Comfortable using a stepladder and handling POS boxes.
• Confident navigating an app‑based system and communicating with store staff.
• Attention to detail and previous experience with POS merchandising is a plus.
