Party Chief – Survey (Offshore Marine Works)

About the role

We are looking for a Party Chief to lead offshore survey operations for OMW projects, ensuring safety, coordination and successful execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist new and fellow employees in performing their work in accordance with safe work procedures.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, crew members and project managers.
• Conduct and document daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety pre‑tower meetings.
• Oversee offshore operations, including personnel, daily progress and asset utilization.
• Train and adhere to OII, DOTD or client‑specific requirements.
• Manage and carry out specific job tasks as requested by the client or project manager.
• Comply with company safety rules, report unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
• Ensure care and safety of company equipment.
• Train fellow field personnel.

Required profile

• Two‑year technical degree or higher in a STEM field.
• Three or more years experience as a Senior Surveyor in marine construction/survey & positioning.
• Valid driver’s licence with a suitable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with major survey equipment manufacturer’s software.
