Pharmacist – Customer Support Centre (Nottingham)

About the role

Join a newly formed team delivering pharmacy services across England from our Customer Support Centre in Nottingham. You will provide expert advice and reassurance to customers and patients through phone and video consultations, supporting the New Medicines Service and other digital health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver New Medicines Service (NMS) conversations in line with service specifications.
• Provide high‑quality patient consultations via telephone or video calls.
• Maintain accurate consultation records and ensure eligibility criteria are met.
• Achieve business targets and support overall call‑centre performance.
• Navigate the Columbus digital system and other IT tools efficiently.
• Continuously update practice knowledge and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with GPhC, PSNI or PSI.
• Active CPD portfolio meeting revalidation requirements.
• Role model for patient‑centred care and strong consultation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially over the phone.
• Ability to build professional networks with key stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving capability for unusual queries.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Columbus digital system.
