Pricing and Commercial Insights Manager – AI Focus (Law Firm)

About the role

We are seeking a Pricing and Commercial Insights Manager to join a leading global law firm in London. The role sits at the intersection of legal operations, commercial strategy and emerging AI technology, helping shape pricing models for AI‑augmented legal services. You will work closely with partners, finance teams and business development to ensure pricing is competitive, profitable and aligned with the firm’s value‑based approach.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement consistent pricing strategies for AI‑driven legal services, translating efficiency gains into monetised outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and client expectations for AI‑related offerings.
• Support partners in pricing complex transactions across EMEAPAC, including GenAI‑driven matters and value‑based pricing.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on pricing and commercial matters related to GenAI and value‑based models.
• Create pricing guidance and training for fee‑earners to price AI‑augmented services without defaulting to discounts.
• Promote pricing discipline through presentations and stakeholder engagement.
• Encourage adoption of firm tools and integrate AI solutions into pricing processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with Business Development and other support functions to align policies and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pricing, commercial finance or revenue operations, preferably within professional services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest or knowledge of AI, GenAI and emerging technology delivery models.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior leaders.
