Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant – Full‑time (East London)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate who aspires to become a primary school teacher. The role is based in an Ofsted Outstanding primary school in Newham, East London, and provides paid, school‑based experience from September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Support an experienced class teacher in a Year 1‑6 classroom.
- Assist with delivering the full curriculum across all subjects.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils as directed.
- Participate in classroom management and pastoral duties.
Required profile
- Recent graduate holding a university degree.
- Passion for primary education and a desire to pursue PGCE or teacher training.
- Some paid or voluntary experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, youth work, coaching).
Required skills
- Basic classroom support and organisational abilities.
