Primary Teacher Supply – Year 5 (Manchester)

About the role

Reeson Education is looking for enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis in Year 5 classes across Manchester. The role starts ASAP and offers flexible day‑to‑day assignments in a supportive school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons confidently to Year 5 pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support pupils’ academic and emotional needs throughout the school day.
• Adapt quickly to new school settings and routines.
• Collaborate with school staff and follow school policies.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.
• Provide end‑of‑day feedback to the school as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Reliable, flexible and confident approach to supply teaching.
• Ability to teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, specifically Year 5.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
