Procurement Coordinator – Birmingham

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will support Thermoseal’s purchasing strategy, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and components for our insulated glass production. Reporting to the Purchasing and Operations Director, you will manage the full procurement cycle while maintaining cost control and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms and raise purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels against sales forecasts, production needs and warehouse capacity.
• Validate supplier invoices and ensure accurate payment processing.
• Provide pricing feedback to the business and influence final product costing.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Track order status, resolve delivery issues and manage invoice discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Fluent English, full UK driving licence and willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
• Right to work in the UK.
