Production & Material Coordinator

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is looking for a Production & Material Coordinator to join the Logistics & Planning team at its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Norwich. You will ensure that production materials are available on time, support planning activities and act as a key liaison between customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and enter customer orders and schedules according to business procedures.
• Generate customer shipment documentation and maintain price lists.
• Plan, schedule and issue purchase orders and manufacturing orders for required materials and products.
• Support creation and issuance of production plans and manufacturing requirements.
• Expedite or de‑expedite purchase and manufacturing schedules as needed.
• Run production and shortage reports to aid planning.
• Coordinate logistical requirements, vendor returns and related debit/credit notes.
• Assist with administrative tasks within the Planning Team.

Required profile

• Knowledge of industry standards and logistical processes.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP MRP.
• Manufacturing planning background, preferably in the automotive supply chain.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure.
