Buyer – Direct Procurement

About the role

Lotus Cars is seeking a talented, creative and motivated Buyer to lead direct procurement activities for a defined material product group. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality and Programme teams to ensure the right parts are sourced at the right cost, quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative, world‑class supplier relationships.
• Manage supplier performance throughout vehicle launch and production phases, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met.
• Gain deep understanding of the supply base, local and global markets, and business requirements.
• Create and maintain commodity and sourcing strategies.
• Lead supplier negotiations and achieve material cost targets for new product introductions.
