Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will support the assembly and finishing of moulded parts, as well as various boat‑building processes, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded components under the guidance of the Team Leader.
• Prepare mouldings and support the production schedule.
• Help with the preparation, bonding, cutting, grinding and flow‑coating of boats.
• Support other manufacturing areas as directed by the line supervisor.
• Produce sub‑assemblies when required.
• Train new operatives and other personnel as needed.
• Keep the workstation clean and tidy.
• Follow the company’s Health and Safety procedures and related policies.

Required profile

• Good general education.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience or a BTEC Engineering qualification with 1‑2 years of experience.
• Practical mindset with the ability to work safely using workshop tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with conventional workshop power tools.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
