Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of mature, mission‑critical aerospace and defence products for a Wiltshire‑based client. The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensuring projects meet stringent time, cost and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, execution and delivery across software, systems and mechanical engineering.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources and coordinate integration, testing and validation activities.
• Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure adherence to aerospace and defence standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining stakeholder engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement using Agile and Lean methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience within the defence or aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of aerospace safety and compliance standards.
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance and right to work in the UK.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
