Project Surveyor – Repair Projects (Hybrid)

About the role

As a Project Surveyor you will take ownership of repair projects, providing technical solutions for residents and ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑work surveys, including damp and mould assessments, to identify repair and maintenance needs.
• Prepare detailed reports and specifications for contractors, using NHF SORs to accrue costs accurately.
• Manage projects through to completion, maintaining customer experience and quality standards.
• Liaise with local authority planning departments to ensure statutory compliance, especially for listed and historic buildings.
• Engage with leaseholders to meet repair standards, recover costs appropriately, and capture customer feedback.
• Maintain robust repair data, financial projections, and budgetary control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum HNC/HND Level 3 qualification in Construction or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to diagnose building defects, specify works, and manage projects to completion.
• Experience using NHF SORs for work schedules and delivering repair‑led projects under S20 compliance.
• Familiarity with listed building consent processes and historic building guidelines.
• Strong understanding of health and safety management, including CDM Regulations 2015.
