Psychology Teacher (A Level) – Full‑time Temp‑to‑Perm

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Psychology teacher to deliver A‑Level and lower‑ability lessons across schools in the Medway area. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to shape students' academic progress and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Psychology across the ability range, including A‑Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, well‑structured lessons.
• Inspire students to understand psychological theory, research and real‑world applications.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Psychology, ideally at A‑Level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Psychology.
• Commitment to achieving high standards for every student.
• Ability to create engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS disclosure and any required overseas police clearances.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
