Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainer/Assessor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced refrigeration and air‑conditioning professional to join our client as a Trainer/Assessor. You will deliver both theoretical and practical training to apprentices working towards a Level 3 qualification, while receiving full support to develop your teaching and assessing credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and workshop‑based training sessions covering refrigeration and air‑conditioning theory and practice.
• Coach, motivate and support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and documentation.
• Adapt delivery methods to overcome learning barriers and meet individual needs.
• Prepare learners for successful completion of the End Point Assessment.

Required profile

• Solid occupational experience in refrigeration and air‑conditioning.
• Possession of an F‑Gas Level 3 qualification.
• Previous experience training, coaching or mentoring on‑the‑job.
• Confidence delivering training in a classroom or workshop setting.
• Good IT proficiency.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £38,000 and £42,200 per year.
