About the role
Join Travis Perkins as a Regional Sales Key Account Manager and help grow the UK's largest builders' merchants. You will work across multiple branches, reactivating dormant accounts and generating new business while building strong, face‑to‑face relationships with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Reactivate dormant and low‑spending accounts within an allocated region.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive field visits.
- Coordinate pricing and account development activities.
- Achieve sales and profit targets for existing and new customers.
- Collaborate with branch managers and the wider network team to drive regional sales success.
- Work with the Head of Sales to define personal development plans.
Required profile
- Strong external sales experience, preferably in merchanting or supplier environments.
- Proven ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Self‑driven, goal‑oriented and comfortable working independently on the road.
- Willingness to undertake a foundation‑degree level external sales qualification.
