Remote Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist (Contractor)

About the role

Join a leading AI research accelerator as a remote medical specialist. You will apply your gastroenterology and hepatology expertise to shape the clinical reasoning of large language models, ensuring they deliver safe, accurate, and empathetic medical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Design and author advanced clinical scenarios covering complex differential diagnoses and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence‑based reasoning.
• Identify knowledge gaps across internal medicine subspecialties and provide actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow clinicians to improve model performance.
• Deliver structured, expert feedback that informs next‑generation AI development for clinical and educational use.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent with active clinical practice within the past 3 years.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (or equivalent).
• Broad expertise in acute care, chronic disease, and preventive medicine.
• Ability to communicate complex medical reasoning in clear, patient‑friendly language.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Education from a top‑tier institution (e.g., Harvard, Stanford, UCSF, Oxford).

Required skills

• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with digital medical tools (optional).

What we offer

• 20–40 hours per week (minimum 4 hours/day) with overlap in PST.
• Freelance contract (no paid leave) for an initial 1‑month period, with possible extension.
