Restaurant Customer Advisor

About the role

As a Restaurant Customer Advisor you will be the front‑line face of Dobbies’ restaurant, delivering a friendly and efficient service to guests. You will help customers enjoy tasty meals, ensure food hygiene standards are met, and support the overall sales performance of the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with orders, queries and transactions.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership benefits and drive sales through proactive interaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, allergens and dietary requirements to advise customers accurately.
• Keep the restaurant and surrounding areas clean and tidy, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Perform shop‑floor duties such as stock handling, cash and till operations, take‑to‑car deliveries, and stock control as needed.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering a great customer experience with a friendly, smile‑focused attitude.
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing or hospitality role.
• Team‑player who builds relationships, celebrates success and works well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, professional appearance and a proactive, can‑do mindset.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and develop within the hospitality sector.
