Retail Asset Manager

About the role

Do you want to play a key role in the regeneration of UK town and city centres while taking ownership of a portfolio of shopping centre assets? Praxis is a leading privately owned UK real estate investor and manager with over £1.36bn of assets under management. Through a vertically integrated model the team makes decisions, drives change and sees the direct impact of their work. We are looking for a Retail Asset Manager to join our Development and Regeneration team, responsible for a portfolio of Local Authority‑owned shopping centres across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver asset business plans across a portfolio of shopping centres.
• Drive rental growth, reduce voids and maximise net operating income.
• Lead lease renewals, rent reviews, re‑gearing and lettings activity.
• Identify new income streams and asset enhancement opportunities.
• Work with Local Councils to support regeneration ambitions and lead refurbishment, reconfiguration and placemaking initiatives.
• Take ownership of asset P&L and service charge budgets, collaborating with Property, Facilities and Centre Management teams.
• Deliver ESG, sustainability and community initiatives and produce high‑quality reports for internal and Local Authority stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven UK shopping centre asset management experience.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and financial awareness, including budgets, income and service charges.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
• Experience managing demanding stakeholder relationships, particularly with Local Authorities.
• Creative thinking around regeneration, placemaking and repurposing assets.
