Sales Development Representative – £30k + OTE

About the role
We are a fast‑growing payroll and HR solutions provider looking to double our revenue over the next three years. As a Sales Development Representative you will be the first point of contact with prospects, driving pipeline growth through a mix of inbound qualification and outbound prospecting.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities via phone, email and LinkedIn outreach.
- Qualify inbound leads and turn marketing interest into sales‑ready opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell possibilities within existing accounts.
- Research target accounts, map stakeholders and engage key decision‑makers.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and targeting.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and meet activity and pipeline targets.
Required profile
- Confidence in outbound sales, especially cold calling and proactive outreach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Target‑driven mindset with resilience and consistency.
- Curiosity and commercial awareness to spot new opportunities.
- Data‑driven approach to prioritising activity and improving performance.
- Team‑first attitude and desire to grow in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer
- Base salary of £30,000 plus £10,000 OTE.
- Accelerators for exceeding targets.
- Clear progression path to Account Executive within 18‑24 months.
- Hybrid work model with at least three days per week in the Newcastle office.
