About the role
This fixed‑term position (one year) provides essential secretarial, administrative and clerical support to staff members within a NHS Scotland service area. The role contributes to the smooth operation of the team while upholding NHS values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Provide secretarial, administrative and clerical support to staff members within the service area.
- Manage correspondence, schedule appointments and maintain filing systems.
- Prepare documents, minutes and reports as required.
- Assist with data entry and ensure accuracy of records.
- Support day‑to‑day office operations and liaise with internal teams.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to NHS values and equality and diversity principles.
