About the role

This fixed‑term position (one year) provides essential secretarial, administrative and clerical support to staff members within a NHS Scotland service area. The role contributes to the smooth operation of the team while upholding NHS values of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide secretarial, administrative and clerical support to staff members within the service area.
• Manage correspondence, schedule appointments and maintain filing systems.
• Prepare documents, minutes and reports as required.
• Assist with data entry and ensure accuracy of records.
• Support day‑to‑day office operations and liaise with internal teams.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to NHS values and equality and diversity principles.
