Service Coordinator – Fire Safety Services

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised Service Coordinator to join Dry Risers Direct in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The role supports the southern region by handling administrative duties, scheduling field engineers and delivering excellent client service within a fast‑paced fire safety environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field engineers across the southern region, ensuring timely appointments and efficient resource use.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inbound calls and emails professionally.
• Enter and maintain accurate job data, service records and compliance certificates in the CRM system.
• Record financial information in Xero and raise customer invoices.
• Log new enquiries and route them to the appropriate team member.
• Monitor outstanding jobs, follow up on incomplete visits and raise remedial work where required.
• Assist the Service Manager with workload planning, capacity management and reporting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records, including site contacts, access notes and contract details.
• Perform general filing and office duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative or coordination role.
• Background in scheduling or service coordination within fire safety, facilities management or similar field services is desirable.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Resident within an easy commute of Wilmslow, Cheshire.
