Security Engineer

About the role

As a Security Engineer at Bending Spoons you will help protect our digital products and infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering and privacy teams to embed strong security controls throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen security across systems and infrastructure using modern tools, automation, and continuous testing.
• Identify security loopholes and conduct internal security assessments to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
• Design and build automated solutions that embed security controls directly into infrastructure and engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with privacy experts to translate regulatory requirements into practical technical safeguards.
• Monitor emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques and share knowledge to continuously improve the security posture.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability: solve complex problems from first principles and pay attention to critical details.
