About the role

Seller Success is a newly created team at eBay UK that supports consumer‑to‑consumer (C2C) and small‑business (SMB) sellers. The Seller Strategy & Operations Manager will lead global and local initiatives that improve the seller experience and help sellers grow their businesses on the eBay platform.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advocate for sellers, balancing short‑term execution with long‑term impact.
  • Use data, market insights and structured problem‑solving to identify growth opportunities and optimise the seller journey.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Category, Analytics, Operations and Business Development to design and launch initiatives that boost seller growth and platform performance.
  • Support the development and execution of SMB growth strategies, including acquisition, onboarding, activation and retention.
  • Evaluate and optimise commercial levers, seller propositions, operational processes and product enhancements to unlock scalable growth.
  • Align UK priorities with global SMB objectives and ensure cross‑team governance, communication and progress tracking.
  • Prepare executive‑ready analyses, business cases and recommendations for prioritisation and investment decisions.
  • Identify CSAT drivers and propose strategic and operational actions to improve seller satisfaction and engagement.
  • Present insights, recommendations and progress updates to senior stakeholders with clarity and influence.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in commercial strategy, developing and delivering strategic plans that contribute to overall company goals.
