About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit school in the Moseley, B14 area. This full‑time position involves supporting pupils with special educational and behavioural needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance required to thrive in the classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN and behavioural difficulties.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and carers to implement individual education plans.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Travel to the designated school site as required.
Required profile
- Experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting.
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3) – desirable but not mandatory.
- Passion for supporting children with mild SEN and behavioural challenges.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training.
