Senior Academic Lead – Subject Division Leadership

About the role

Blue Education is seeking a Senior Academic Lead to own and grow a subject division across multiple disciplines. This senior leadership position combines high‑level curriculum design, team development, and business growth responsibilities within a hybrid, full‑time environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the academic strategy, curriculum design and programme development for the assigned subject area.
• Manage and mentor a team of tutors, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance and professional development.
• Ensure academic quality, student progression, university admissions success and parent satisfaction.
• Drive commercial success through student enrollment growth and new programme launches.
• Represent the brand externally and contribute to strategic business planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in academic leadership or senior teaching roles within higher‑education or elite tutoring environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable curricula and deliver measurable student outcomes.
• Strong track record of building and managing high‑performing academic teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families and external partners.
